A number of summer events have been announced in Tenerife.

Those heading to Puerto de la Cruz for a break could be in for a treat, as this is the town where the bashes are happening, according to Tenerife News.

All Saint''s Church will host a French evening on July 16th, perfect for those who enjoy Gallic arts or want to practice their language skills.

The news provider reported there will be cabaret entertainment on offer at the show, which could be a good opportunity to pull on your glad rags and dancing shoes.

Shoppers hunting for a holiday treat may also want to head to the church, as car boot sales are being held throughout October.

"Bargains galore will be available," the website asserted.

As previously reported by the news portal, the 200-year-old Casa Iriarte museum is being restored in the centre of the town, which could be an interesting attraction for those who want to gain more information about Tenerife and its history.
