| Sporty holidaymakers seeking information about Tenerife and its facilities may be interested to learn it has been featured by an industry publication. Golf Monthly recently sent journalists and photographers to the island''s Golf Las Americas resort, where experts gave tips to budding Tiger Woods and Colin Montgomerys. The news provider also published a YouTube video clip on its website, going behind the scenes of the photoshoot and allowing fans a sneak peek of what to expect at the venue. An 18-hole course, which opened in 1998, is located close to Playa de la Americas and Los Cristianos. It has a total length of 6,039 metres, covers 90 hectares and contains streams and waterfalls. Those who know their woods from their irons may be interested to learn it has a par of 72. For people who wish to practice before taking on the full challenge, there is also a driving range.  |
