This is because a new farmers'' market has opened on the island, the Tenerife News relayed. Located in Santa Catalina in the south-west of the destination, the marquee is available for visits from members of the public on Saturday and Sunday between 08:00 and 14:00 local time. According to the report, the first event at the farm proved such a hit with locals and tourists that almost all of the culinary treats on offer sold out. Those who like to reduce their carbon footprint may also be impressed that reusable bags are apparently being doled out at the market as part of a new local environmental initiative. Meanwhile, the news provider recently suggested people vacationing in Costa del Silencio could try out Bolle''s Bistro, which serves "gorgeous" meals. It highlighted dishes such as goats'' cheese on toast and its "mouth-watering" pork with mustard.  |
