| Budding Kelly Hoppens may be encouraged to book a cheap holiday to Tenerife after hearing about an upcoming event at the destination. The Tenerife Design Festival (TDF), set to take place at venues across the island between 19th and 25th October, will comprise a number of exhibitions and workshops relating to all areas of the industry. International trends will form a large part of the bash, seeing professionals and visitors discuss the latest changes in the sector. Delegates confirmed to be attending include Hector Serrano, Martin Azua and Pierluigi Cattermole. Organisers commented: "TDF presents design in an innovative way based on three key concepts that will be part of its five areas - local identity, landscape contrast and tourism." Culture vultures, meanwhile, may wish to consider booking a cheap flight to Tenerife next month to take in an opera festival. Held at the Auditorio on September 17th and 19th, the bash will host the likes of Richard Strauss'' Salome and Songstress by Joseph Haydn. ![]() |
