 Top Tenerife hotel praised by island official |

| People trying to decide where to stay on their holiday to Tenerife could be swayed by the comments of an island official. The mayor of Costa Adeje Jose Miguel Rodriguez Fraga has praised the Hotel Gran Tinerife in an interview with the Tenerife News. He commended the Playa de Las Americas accommodation as being an "example to follow" for all other providers on the island. The report stated the building – which dates back to 1969 - has reopened after undergoing a facelift. People deciding to head to Adeje have a range of options for entertainment. The town is home to Siam Park, the destination''s main aqua attraction. Slides, pools and wave machines can be found here, along with sandy spots which could be perfect for an afternoon''s sunbathing. Liverpool FC''s under-18s squad recently head to the region for a training camp, a time which may have seen the players gain more information about Tenerife.  |
