News Article Pensioners could see holiday to Tenerife as their little luxury
Monday 7th Sep 2009 at 10:35
Those trying to decide where to have a vacation this year could follow the example of a British couple and book a holiday to Tenerife.

Pensioners John and Sandra Harrison told the Daily Mail they try to make sure they store enough money away for their jaunts to the Canary Island every year.

Discussing how they manage their cash, John remarked: "My other savings help to pay for the little luxuries in our life such as our holiday to Tenerife this winter."

Once they have reached their annual bolt hole in the Atlantic Ocean, the pair may find they have a range of activities to keep them amused.

The island''s Design Festival is taking place between the October 19th and 25th, while the London Philharmonic Orchestra is set to play a gig at the 2010 Canary Islands Music Festival on January 20th.

The concert is taking place the Auditorio de Tenerife, with tickets costing between €30 (£26) and €80.ADNFCR-917-ID-19349678-ADNFCR
